Bay Support Officer

About the role

The Bay Support Officer will coordinate all resources required for base aircraft maintenance, ensuring smooth workflow execution and timely aircraft turnaround. This role works closely with logistics, engineering, and production teams to keep maintenance activities on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor progress of digital work packages, task completion, and maintenance milestones, escalating any risks to delivery targets.
• Ensure compliance with approved documentation, company procedures, and digital sign‑off requirements.
• Track and report unauthorized task closures, workflow deviations, and other non‑compliances within the digital maintenance environment.
• Verify manpower attendance and availability, flagging absences, late arrivals, or resource shortages that could affect execution.
• Confirm readiness of pre‑loaded materials, consumables, tooling, equipment, and ground support equipment, escalating shortages as needed.
• Coordinate with Logistics, Production Planning, Engineering, and Workshops to resolve material, tooling, documentation, and resource constraints.
• Support production planning by monitoring package readiness, identifying missing prerequisites, and tracking critical path activities.
• Provide accurate updates during daily production meetings on maintenance progress, manpower, material status, and operational constraints.
• Facilitate shift handovers, ensuring clear communication of outstanding work and risks.
• Assist with quality assurance audits, regulatory inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Associate Degree or Diploma in Aviation, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Fluency in English.
