About the role

Provide a professional range of skin services for clients in a luxury salon environment, ensuring compliance with salon protocols and documented best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and greet every client warmly, delivering excellent customer service.
• Perform a variety of skin services as outlined in the salon brochure.
• Conduct full consultations to identify health or skin concerns before treatment.
• Recommend appropriate services and products based on client needs.
• Explain each step of the service to build client confidence.
• Handle client questions, concerns, and complaints professionally, escalating when necessary.
• Uphold municipal hygiene standards and salon policies for all treatments.
• Record technical service information for future reference and maintain product knowledge.
• Follow brand guidelines to achieve desired results and suggest after‑care products.
• Coordinate with reception to maximise daily appointments and manage client retention.
• Maintain personal grooming standards and ensure tools are sterilised.
• Clean treatment rooms after each client and report any departmental issues.
• Control product usage, attend training, stay updated on latest practices, and monitor stock levels.
• Maintain retail displays, remove expired items, prepare orders, and assist with stocktaking.

Required profile

• High school qualification.
• Industry certification.
• Minimum 2–3 years experience as a therapist in a salon or spa.
• Brand knowledge of Lycon.
• Current knowledge of hair removal practices.
