Beauty Therapist / Laser Technician

About the role

The American Hospital Dubai is seeking a qualified Beauty Therapist who will also operate laser equipment safely and effectively. You will deliver a range of aesthetic treatments while ensuring compliance with Dubai Health Authority (DHA) protocols and maintaining a hazard‑free environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate laser devices for hair removal, skin rejuvenation and other treatments following DHA safety standards.
• Conduct thorough skin assessments, develop personalized treatment plans and perform facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion and other aesthetic procedures.
• Maintain strict hygiene, keep treatment areas clean and ensure all client records and treatment logs are accurate and up‑to‑date.
• Provide exceptional customer service, handle client inquiries, manage appointment schedules and assist with inventory control.
• Attend laser safety training, monitor client responses during procedures and adjust settings as needed.

Required profile

• Diploma in Beauty Therapy or related field and completion of an accredited laser technician program.
• DHA license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate and at least two years of experience in a luxury hospital or clinic setting.
• Knowledge of laser technologies, advanced aesthetic treatments and Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA) standards.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Arabic language skills are preferred.

• Laser equipment operation (hair removal, skin rejuvenation).
• Facial treatments, chemical peels and microdermabrasion.
• DHA safety protocols and laser safety training.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Knowledge of JCIA accreditation standards.
