Bell Attendant – Guest Services

About the role

The Bell Attendant joins the guest experience team at Mövenpick Hotel in Dubai, providing courteous assistance with luggage, transportation and first‑impression services. This full‑time position supports guests from arrival through departure, ensuring a seamless and welcoming stay.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests at the main entrance, open and close car and taxi doors, and escort them to the front desk.
• Handle heavy packages, suitcases, coats and other baggage promptly and courteously.
• Maintain a clean and tidy entrance, driveway and lobby area.
• Operate bell carts, lift and emergency stairs, and keep the baggage room organized.
• Deliver newspapers and arrange transport with the Airport Concierge.
• Document important matters in the duty log and assist other departments when needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar hospitality role.
• Fluency in Arabic (spoken and written) preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure and collaborate with a multicultural team.
• Physical fitness to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lb.

Required skills

• Familiarity with hotel management systems and safety procedures.
• Proficiency in handling luggage and operating bell carts.
