Bellman – Guest Services & Luggage Assistance

About the role

We are seeking a friendly, customer‑focused individual to create exceptional first and lasting impressions for our guests. As a Bellman, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests receive warm, attentive service from the moment they arrive until their departure.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly, professional demeanor upon arrival.
• Assist guests with luggage handling during check‑in and check‑out processes.
• Escort guests to their rooms and provide information about hotel amenities and services.
• Offer recommendations about local attractions, dining options, and transportation in Abu Dhabi.
• Maintain a clean and organized lobby area, ensuring luggage carts are available and in good condition.
• Assist with valet parking services when required.
• Collaborate with front desk staff to ensure smooth check‑in and check‑out experiences.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries, demonstrating exceptional customer service.
• Ensure proper tagging and secure storage of guest luggage.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support overall hotel operations.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a bellman or in the hospitality industry (preferred).
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
• Strong physical fitness to handle luggage and stand for extended periods.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic or additional languages is a plus.
• Professional appearance with meticulous attention to personal grooming and uniform standards.
• Flexible availability to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a proactive and helpful attitude.
• Valid UAE driver’s license for potential valet parking duties.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of service.
