B&F Support Expert – Wet Deck

About the role

Our Guest Service Support Experts ensure food and beverage operations run smoothly at W Hotels. In the Wet Deck area you will support the team by setting tables, assisting the kitchen, cleaning work zones and replenishing supplies, helping create a memorable experience for guests. The role requires maintaining a safe workplace, following company policies, and presenting a professional appearance while working on sloping, uneven or slippery surfaces for extended periods.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and arrange tables and dining areas in the Wet Deck.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic tasks and ensure timely service.
• Clean and maintain work areas, including floors and surfaces.
• Replenish supplies and stock items to keep operations efficient.
• Manage menu information, read and visually verify details, and handle physical tasks such as lifting, moving, and carrying items up to 25 lb (50 lb with assistance).

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior experience required; previous experience in a food and beverage environment is a plus.
• Ability to stand, walk, and work on uneven or slippery surfaces for extended periods.
• Professional uniform, appearance and communication skills.
