Bid and Tender Manager

About the role

The Tendering Manager leads all tendering and commercial proposal activities for DSV’s Projects business in the UAE, ensuring competitive, accurate and profitable submissions that support strategic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end tender process for RFIs, RFQs and RFPs across the UAE region.
• Review customer requirements, technical specifications and contractual obligations to define tender strategy and resource needs.
• Develop bid/no‑bid recommendations based on commercial viability, operational capability and risk exposure.
• Oversee commercial pricing, freight, transport, chartering, warehousing and customs cost models to achieve target profitability.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Operations and external service providers to secure pricing and capacity commitments.
• Act as the central liaison between Sales, Operations, Finance, Legal, Procurement and Project Management during tender preparation and negotiations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering or a related field.
• 8‑10 years of experience in project logistics, freight forwarding, heavy‑lift, oil & gas, energy or EPC logistics, with at least 3‑5 years in tendering, commercial management, pricing or a leadership role.
