Bilingual Public Relations Manager (Arabic/English)

About the role

Viola Communications is looking for an experienced Bilingual PR Manager to lead a major communications programme in the UAE. The role will work closely with the client and internal agency teams to deliver day‑to‑day public relations activities, media engagement and content creation in both Arabic and English.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the daily delivery of the communications programme from the client’s offices, ensuring seamless coordination between client and agency.
• Identify relevant topics, stories and media angles that support the client’s objectives.
• Review and approve Arabic and English content before publication, guaranteeing accuracy, quality and alignment with strategy.
• Handle incoming media enquiries, arrange interviews, briefings and other media opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets and key stakeholders.
• Oversee the wider agency team supporting the programme, ensuring timely, high‑quality output.
• Maintain up‑to‑date media databases, coverage records and communications materials.
• Prepare monthly reports that provide clear visibility on activities, coverage and programme progress.
• Collaborate with the client team to manage priorities, deadlines and evolving communication needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of PR or communications experience, including at least 2 years in the UAE.
• Native or near‑native Arabic with excellent written and verbal skills.
• Fluent professional English with strong editorial capabilities.
• Experience working with government entities or large corporate communications teams.
• Proven media‑relations track record, handling enquiries, interviews and briefings.
• Strong editorial judgement, attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Effective stakeholder management and team coordination skills.
