BIM Engineer - Dry Utilities

About the role

Parsons, a global leader in design, construction and engineering, is looking for a BIM Engineer – Dry Utilities (UAE National) to join its Dubai team. The role focuses on creating and managing 3‑D BIM models for power, street lighting, telecommunications and other dry utility networks, supporting infrastructure and urban development projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 3‑D BIM models for dry utility infrastructure, including power distribution, street lighting and telecommunications.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate utilities with roads, structures, landscape and drainage in a coordinated model.
• Perform clash detection, model reviews and generate detailed drawings, layouts and schedules directly from BIM.
• Maintain model quality, ensure compliance with client standards and company procedures.
• Utilize digital twin, automation and AI‑enabled tools to improve project delivery and coordination.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• UAE National (Emirati) status.
• Fresh graduates are welcome; prior BIM or utility project experience is a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical and organizational abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Autodesk Revit, Civil 3D, AutoCAD and Navisworks.
• Basic understanding of dry utility systems such as power distribution, street lighting and telecommunications.
• Familiarity with BIM workflows, model coordination and clash detection processes.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
