BIM Lead – Structures

About the role

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Structures BIM Lead to join its team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role you will lead the structural BIM effort on complex infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the model is built in accordance with the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and project standards.
• Lead and manage BIM processes across all project stages, from concept through handover.
• Generate and manage 2D deliverables (plans, sections, elevations, details) from the BIM model.
• Coordinate multi‑disciplinary BIM models to maintain clash‑free, up‑to‑date deliverables.
• Conduct regular model audits to verify health, compliance and quality.

Required profile

• 6–8 years of digital development and BIM best‑practice experience.
• Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Experience setting up projects in a Common Data Environment (CDE) and managing design models.
• Ability to oversee junior technicians and ensure discipline‑specific BIM quality.
• Familiarity with BIM Execution Plans, Level of Development (LOD) and model‑check procedures.
