BIM Manager – Dubai

About the role

The BIM Manager will lead the development, coordination and delivery of Building Information Modelling across the full project lifecycle for large infrastructure and rail projects in Dubai. This role ensures digital integration of survey data, design models and construction execution, producing accurate as‑built records.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Project BIM Execution Plan (BEP) in line with ISO 19650 and local regulatory requirements.
• Oversee federated BIM models for civil, structural, MEP and rail disciplines, ensuring coordination and clash detection.
• Integrate point‑cloud, GIS and laser‑scanning data to support site survey, setting‑out and digital terrain modelling.
• Manage BIM data within a Common Data Environment (CDE) such as Aconex or BIM 360, maintaining version control and audit trails.
• Lead BIM coordinators and modelers, conduct coordination workshops and support regulatory audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture or a related field.
• 10–15 years of BIM management experience on large infrastructure/rail projects, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 19650, Dubai Municipality and RTA BIM standards.
