BIM Manager - Water and Wastewater Infrastructure

About the role

AECOM is looking for a BIM Manager to deliver BIM solutions for water and wastewater infrastructure projects in Dubai. The role works under limited supervision with project management oversight and involves training design staff and producing comprehensive drawings and models.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver BIM solutions for water and wastewater infrastructure projects under limited supervision, with project management oversight.
• Train and provide technical support to design staff on the BIM system, which uses 3D models based on project specifications for water treatment facilities, distribution systems and related infrastructure.
• Provide direct project support and production for assigned water and PMC projects, creating drawings and models to project requirements (water treatment components, pumping stations, pipeline systems, control systems).
• Coordinate with project management consultants and stakeholders so BIM models match project schedules, budgets and design standards.
• Manage BIM documentation and model coordination across multidisciplinary teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with BIM software and applications.
• Demonstrated expertise in water and wastewater infrastructure design and modeling.
• Experience coordinating BIM models across multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent technical documentation and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with industry-standard BIM platforms and 3D modeling tools.
• Strong knowledge of water treatment facilities, distribution systems, pumping stations and related components.
• Preferred: Autodesk Revit certification or equivalent BIM certification, experience with PMC projects, background in training design staff, familiarity with industry standards, project management experience in water/wastewater, and knowledge of control systems and pipeline design specifications.
