Boutique Sales Agent – Guest Relations

About the role

Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Boutique Sales Agent to join the Guest Relations team. The role combines retail sales with guest‑service duties in a luxury hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in‑house guests and customers in locating and purchasing products in the boutique.
• Perform point‑of‑sale transactions, including cash and credit card payments, and maintain accurate sales records.
• Provide product recommendations, demonstrate features, and answer guest queries about merchandise.
• Handle gift‑wrapping, merchandise displays, inventory preparation and exchanges.
• Support Guest Relations administration such as searching guest information, ordering amenities and preparing reports.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar boutique sales role, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Senior School qualification or equivalent.
• Good command of English (minimum intermediate) and clear communication skills.
• Professional attitude, punctuality and appropriate appearance.

Required skills

• Knowledge of sales principles and product knowledge.
• Basic business administration and proficiency with computer systems.
• Ability to use point‑of‑sale (POS) systems and process cash/credit transactions.
