Branch Accountant – Automotive (UAE National)

About the role

The Branch Accountant supports day‑to‑day dealership finance operations, ensuring accurate accounting, compliance with financial policies and timely month‑end reporting within a high‑volume automotive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Post daily branch transactions such as invoices, receipts, customer collections and vendor payments.
• Support vehicle deal documentation by verifying pricing, discounts and required approvals.
• Monitor cash collections, bank deposits and petty‑cash balances, ensuring accurate reconciliation.
• Prepare and follow up reconciliations for customer accounts, vendor balances and petty cash.
• Assist month‑end close activities including accrual inputs, provisions and journal entries.
• Track branch operating expenses, purchase orders and supplier invoices to identify overspending or miscoding.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, delegation of authority, internal controls and audit requirements.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of experience in accounting, branch finance or high‑volume transactional finance.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations and financial controls.
• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP, in a dealership environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel for managing trackers and reports.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail in reconciliations.
