Branch Manager

About the role

The Branch Manager is responsible for leading the Al Silaa branch, driving new business opportunities, deepening existing client relationships, and ensuring service delivery complies with Islamic Sharia requirements while maintaining strong risk controls.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business through marketing calls, open‑door policy, and in‑branch contacts; set and monitor sales plans for various product lines.
• Monitor branch service standards, handle customer complaints, retain clients, and gather ad‑hoc feedback.
• Control operations to ensure compliance with ADIB’s credit and operational policies, implement process improvements, and approve credit applications.
• Mentor and manage branch staff, maintain morale, coach performance, identify training needs, and evaluate scorecard results.
• Oversee profitability and governance of regional branches allocated to the manager.

Required profile

• Detailed knowledge of ADIB’s retail banking products and services.
• Broad understanding of ADIB’s retail credit and operational policies and procedures.
• Specific knowledge of UAE banking practices, regulations, and associated risks.
• Thorough familiarity with regulations issued by the Central Bank of the UAE.
• General awareness of competitors in the local market.
