Brand Communications Manager

About the role

The Brand Communications Manager will lead the development and execution of integrated communication strategies that strengthen Apparel Group’s brand reputation, drive stakeholder engagement, and ensure consistent messaging across all channels.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement strategic communication plans aligned with the company’s vision, mission and business objectives.
• Serve as the primary media contact, drafting press releases, media kits and managing relationships with journalists and influencers.
• Develop and deliver internal communication programmes, newsletters and intranet content to boost employee engagement.
• Maintain a robust crisis communication plan and lead response efforts when needed.
• Build and nurture relationships with partners, community leaders and industry associations.
• Monitor brand perception, collaborate with PR and social media teams, and guide content creation for websites, reports and social platforms.
• Lead, mentor and manage a team of communication professionals, fostering collaboration across functions.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of progressive experience in corporate communications, public relations or a related field.
• Proven ability to develop and execute integrated communication strategies.
• Strong media relations and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience managing crisis communication and internal communication programmes.
• Leadership experience managing a communications team.
