Budgeting and MIS Manager

About the role

The Budgeting and MIS Manager will lead finance strategy and decision‑support activities at the executive level for a diversified industrial and manufacturing business in Dubai. This role is responsible for driving impactful change across the portfolio through rigorous budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end annual budgeting process, including timeline management, assumptions, consolidation, reviews and final approvals.
• Collaborate with finance and operational teams to develop detailed budgets covering revenue, costs, headcount, CAPEX and cash flow.
• Manage regular forecasting cycles, rolling forecasts and identify business risks, opportunities and key assumption changes.
• Maintain and enhance financial planning models, cost allocation frameworks, budget controls and reporting structures.
• Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly and ad‑hoc management information reports for executive and board‑level stakeholders.
• Conduct variance analysis against budget, forecast and historical performance, providing clear recommendations.
• Design executive‑level dashboards and visual reporting tools to simplify complex financial data.
• Support financial planning for strategic projects, new contracts, investments and expansion initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in budgeting, financial planning and MIS within a large, multi‑business environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights for senior leadership.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities for senior‑level audiences.
• Relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent.
