Building Engineering Services Business Group Manager - Middle East

About the role

HDR is seeking a senior leader to oversee its Building Engineering Services Business Group across the Middle East and the UK. The role focuses on operational excellence, staff development, and delivering high‑quality services to clients in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for operations in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
• Lead business development activities, identify new opportunities and support growth initiatives.
• Manage team utilization, staffing levels and resource alignment with project demand.
• Develop and maintain regional business group programs, including quality assurance and production standards.
• Establish external teaming relationships and represent HDR in industry associations.
• Collaborate with regional managers and directors to drive market trends, P&L performance and cross‑market strategies.
• Participate in senior leadership meetings, budgeting, revenue forecasting and risk management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering or a related professional field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience, including leading diverse teams.
• Proven business development experience and ability to drive regional growth.
• Strong understanding of resource planning and team utilization management.
• Residency in the UK and commitment to HDR’s employee‑owned culture.
