Business Analyst – 3‑Month Contract (UAE)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst on a 3‑month contract to support an enterprise‑wide business and data discovery initiative for a leading IT and technology company in the UAE. The role focuses on gathering, analysing and documenting business requirements, identifying data sources and providing functional inputs to solution development.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with business stakeholders to understand current processes and needs.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews and requirement‑gathering sessions.
• Document business, functional and non‑functional requirements, including BRDs, FRDs, user stories and process flows.
• Identify, catalogue business data sources and data owners.
• Analyse existing processes and produce current‑state workflow documentation.
• Collaborate with internal IT and project teams to clarify requirements.
• Support testing activities, including requirement validation and user acceptance testing.
• Maintain project documentation, issue logs, action trackers and status updates.

Required profile

• Strong experience in business requirements gathering and documentation.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proven ability to conduct workshops and business interviews.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience working on enterprise transformation or system implementation projects.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
