Business Analyst – Insurance Domain

About the role

Sutherland is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to lead digital transformation initiatives within the insurance domain in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology teams to identify opportunities for digital transformation and process improvement.
• Analyse existing systems, processes and workflows to identify bottlenecks and improvement areas.
• Gather, analyse and document business requirements for digital solutions.
• Develop business requirements, functional specifications and user stories aligned with business objectives.
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams, Product Owners and development teams to drive project implementation.
• Lead change management activities, conduct impact assessments and stakeholder analysis.
• Develop communication plans, training materials and workshops to support change adoption.
• Champion Agile/Scrum methodologies and promote continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Insurance domain.
• Strong experience in Insurance Digital Transformation projects and understanding of insurance processes, products and workflows.
• Hands‑on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working with Product Owners, developers and cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, analytical and facilitation skills.
• Middle East/GCC insurance experience is highly preferred; willingness to relocate to UAE is mandatory.
