Business Analyst – Life Insurance (Dubai)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong Life Insurance domain expertise to support business transformation and technology initiatives in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with business stakeholders to understand objectives, processes, challenges and requirements.
• Conduct workshops, discovery sessions and stakeholder interviews to gather requirements.
• Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), user stories, process flows and use cases.
• Analyze existing processes, recommend improvements and automation opportunities.
• Act as liaison between business users, technology teams and external vendors.
• Support solution design, gap analysis, fit‑gap assessments and vendor evaluations.
• Participate in system demonstrations and support testing activities (SIT and UAT).
• Assist in change management, training and business readiness activities.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of Business Analysis experience, at least 5 years in Life Insurance.
• Proven experience in requirements gathering, process analysis and supporting insurance transformation projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, IT or related discipline.

Required skills

• Knowledge of SDLC, Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Experience with API integrations and core insurance ecosystems.
• Ability to perform gap analysis and process re‑engineering.
