Business Analyst / Product Owner (Data & AI/ML)

About the role

Join a multi‑product SaaS company as part of the Data & AI/ML Engineering team. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and engineering squads, translating business needs into clear technical specifications and owning the product backlog. You will also support planning activities and work on cutting‑edge AI/ML solutions such as personalisation, recommendation systems, fraud detection and Generative AI.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, refine and document business requirements for data‑driven products.
• Translate requirements into technical specifications for engineering teams.
• Own and prioritise the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to track delivery and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Support sprint planning, release coordination and continuous improvement of Agile processes.
• Collaborate on AI/ML initiatives, including personalisation, recommendation, fraud detection and GenAI projects.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner, preferably in data‑centric or backend environments.
• Proven expertise in requirements gathering, backlog management and Agile methodologies.
• Strong understanding of APIs, data pipelines and basic ML concepts.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and analytical abilities.
