Business Analyst – Supply Chain & Manufacturing

About the role

The Business Analyst will support strategic decision‑making by turning complex financial and operational data into actionable business insights. Working within a global logistics and support services provider, the role focuses on cost modelling, forecasting and profitability analysis for commercial proposals and tender submissions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed cost models, financial forecasts and profitability analyses for bids and contracts.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure pricing assumptions, cost estimates and financial models are accurate and commercially viable.
• Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses to evaluate commercial risks and opportunities.
• Gather, validate and standardise financial and operational data with Procurement, Operations and commercial stakeholders.
• Prepare management reports, business cases and support tender documentation.
• Maintain and enhance pricing tools, financial models and cost databases to improve efficiency.
• Monitor performance metrics and contribute to the refinement of pricing methodologies and governance frameworks.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Supply Chain Finance, FP&A, Business Controlling or Supply Chain Analytics.
• Strong expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, pricing and profitability analysis.
• Professional proficiency in English; Big Four consulting experience and ACCA qualification are strong advantages.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Knowledge of reporting tools like Power BI or Business Objects (optional).
• Financial modelling and management reporting.
