Business Applications Specialist – Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O

About the role

The Business Applications Specialist will act as the onsite subject matter expert for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, supporting finance, procurement, sales, supply chain, manufacturing and retail functions across the UAE and related entities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide functional and technical support for D365 F&O, handling incidents, service requests, enhancements and problem resolution.
• Manage configuration, testing, deployment, release management and change requests using Azure DevOps and Microsoft Lifecycle Services.
• Monitor system performance, batch jobs, workflows, integrations and critical business transactions.
• Support related enterprise applications and integrations such as Oracle HR, Shopify, SalesWorx and POS solutions.
• Maintain security roles, access reviews, segregation‑of‑duty validations and master data governance.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, operational reports and SSRS reports.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing, releases, hotfixes and environment refreshes while driving process automation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience supporting ERP and enterprise applications, with strong hands‑on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, distribution or retail environments is highly preferred.
• Proven experience in ERP transformation or migration projects is an advantage.

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (Finance, Procurement, Inventory, Warehouse, Sales, Production modules).
• Azure DevOps, Microsoft Lifecycle Services (LCS) for deployments and releases.
• Power BI, SSRS report development and maintenance.
• Electronic Reporting (ER) and Data Management Framework (DMF).
• API integration, Azure App Registrations, data migration and integration monitoring.
• Security role configuration, workflow design and batch job management.
