Business Developer – Legal Services (Dubai)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Business Developer to join a fast‑growing legal services firm in Dubai. Reporting to senior leadership, you will drive the company’s expansion across the Middle East and international markets by building strong relationships with law firms and professional service providers.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, pursue and convert new business opportunities with UAE‑based and overseas law firms.
• Develop and nurture long‑term partnerships with partners, associates and decision‑makers within target firms.
• Lead outreach activities, prepare pitches, proposals and manage commercial negotiations.
• Support market‑entry initiatives in new jurisdictions and practice areas.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform strategic positioning.
• Collaborate with internal legal, research and delivery teams to ensure seamless client outcomes.
• Represent the organisation at industry conferences, seminars and networking events.
• Maintain accurate opportunity pipelines and report on business‑development performance.

Required profile

• 3–7 years of experience in business development, sales or client‑facing roles within legal services, law firms or professional services.
• Proven track record of selling services to local or international law firms.
• Deep understanding of law‑firm structures, decision‑making processes and client expectations.
• Excellent communication, relationship‑building and negotiation abilities.
• High level of ownership, initiative and commercial awareness.
• Comfortable thriving in a rapidly evolving, growth‑focused environment.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
