Business Development Executive – Food Safety Training

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Executive to expand our food safety and hygiene training portfolio across the UAE. The role focuses on identifying new corporate clients, understanding their training needs, and promoting a range of specialised programmes. You will build long‑term relationships with key decision‑makers in the food and hospitality sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach prospective clients in food & beverage, hospitality, catering, food manufacturing, restaurants, retail and related sectors.
• Generate leads through cold calling, networking, client visits, referrals and market research.
• Assess client training requirements and recommend suitable food safety, HACCP, ISO 22000 and other programmes.
• Promote scheduled, corporate and customised training solutions to decision‑makers.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and commercial offers and follow up to closure.
• Develop and maintain relationships with HR, Training, Quality, HSE, Food Safety and Operations departments.
• Coordinate with trainers and internal teams to schedule and deliver programmes as per client specifications.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and achieve agreed revenue targets.
• Identify opportunities for repeat training, corporate contracts and additional services.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of business development or sales experience in food safety training, certification or consultancy.
• Strong understanding of the UAE food, hospitality and F&B market.
• Existing contacts within hotels, restaurants, catering companies or food manufacturers is advantageous.
• Proven ability to generate new clients and develop corporate accounts.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship‑management skills.
• Ability to understand client training needs and recommend appropriate programmes.
