Business Development Executive – Middle East & Africa

About the role

Progesys Inc is seeking a Business Development Executive to drive growth across the Middle East and Africa. You will be responsible for expanding the company’s footprint in industrial sectors such as mining, petrochemicals, and oil & gas, while building strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve regional business objectives.
• Prospect new accounts, conduct cold‑calling, and deliver sales presentations.
• Research, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities.
• Organise external meetings, campaigns, seminars, and presentations.
• Maintain excellent relationships with clients, partners, and industry associations.
• Understand client challenges and propose tailored solutions that demonstrate ROI.
• Represent Progesys at trade shows and professional associations.
• Keep CRM and sales tools up to date, documenting progress and opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• 7‑10 years of business development and professional services sales experience in the industrial sector.
• Fluent in English and Arabic; French is a plus.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and results‑oriented mindset.
