Business Development Manager – Defense Sector (Dubai)

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive revenue growth and market expansion for EDGE within the domestic defence sector. Based in Dubai, you will identify new opportunities, nurture client relationships and support high‑quality bid execution across platforms, missiles, space and cyber domains.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with growth targets.
• Build and maintain a qualified pipeline of opportunities in the defence market.
• Support preparation and submission of bids and proposals.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis and track sector trends.
• Develop and sustain relationships with government entities and key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with technical, product and commercial teams to align solutions with client needs.
• Contribute to bid strategy, pricing inputs and proposal development.
• Track opportunity progress and provide regular reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or a related field.
• 6–10 years of business development experience, preferably in defence, aerospace or engineering.
• Experience with bidding and proposal processes is preferred.
• Understanding of defence market dynamics and procurement processes is an advantage.
