Business Development Manager – Financial Services (Dubai)

About the role

Al Futtaim Group is seeking a Business Development Manager for Orient Insurance PJSC in Dubai. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on generating new leads, building client relationships, and delivering tailored insurance solutions across multiple lines.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new business opportunities through proactive lead generation.
• Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with corporate and individual clients.
• Assess client needs and recommend appropriate insurance products (property, marine, motor, liability, medical, etc.).
• Prepare proposals, present quotes and customize plans using internal tools.
• Achieve assigned sales and business‑growth targets.
• Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Maintain professional communication throughout the sales cycle.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales and relationship management, preferably within the UAE insurance market.
• Strong negotiation, presentation and proposal‑preparation abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance or related field, or relevant certifications.

Required skills

• Knowledge of various insurance lines (property, marine, motor, liability, medical).
• Familiarity with UAE market regulations (advantageous).
