Business Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth for GLOBAL ENERGY SOLUTIONS in the marine, offshore and oil & gas sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for acquiring new clients, expanding existing accounts and building strategic partnerships. This role requires a proactive individual who can spend significant time with clients and translate market opportunities into profitable contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies to meet revenue and sales targets, identifying new projects, clients and market opportunities.
• Maintain daily communication with existing clients, understand their requirements and promote additional services and manpower solutions.
• Identify and approach potential new clients, conduct presentations and manage the onboarding, vendor registration and pre‑qualification process.
• Coordinate project and tender development by gathering enquiries/RFQs, preparing technical and commercial proposals and negotiating within approved limits.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and client requirements to adjust strategies and capture emerging opportunities.
• Maintain a structured schedule of client meetings, attend industry events and keep the CRM updated with accurate pipeline data.
• Prepare weekly and monthly business development reports, tracking new clients, enquiries, quotations and revenue generated.

Required profile

• Proven experience in marine, offshore, oil & gas, engineering or shipyard industries with an established network of decision‑makers.
• Highly proactive, able to identify upcoming projects, build relationships and convert opportunities into orders.
