Business Development Manager – Oilfield Services

About the role

Anton is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead market expansion and client acquisition for its oilfield technical service division in Abu Dhabi. You will drive the localized application of advanced oilfield service technologies and act as the primary liaison between technical teams and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new markets and client relationships across the region.
• Organise technical exchanges, marketing events and promotional activities.
• Establish a tracking mechanism for early‑stage opportunities and produce rolling long‑term business forecasts.
• Lead high‑value or strategically important projects, coordinating internal resources according to the tiered authorization system.
• Convert qualified opportunities into signed contracts through focused marketing and sales actions.
• Analyse existing marketing, operational and business data to shape strategic marketing plans.
• Execute special tasks such as pre‑qualification for key clients, regional market planning and competitor analysis.

Required profile

• Fluent in written and spoken Chinese and English, with strong petroleum‑technical English.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in oilfield service companies, including over 5 years of technical bidding and tender management.
• Proven record of independently managing full bidding cycles and delivering successful projects.
• Willingness to travel frequently and stay on‑site for extended periods.
• Alignment with Anton’s corporate culture and agile, decentralized management approach.
