Business Development Manager – OTC Derivatives

About the role

AvaTrade is looking for a senior Business Development Manager to expand its client base in the OTC derivatives brokerage market. You will leverage your existing professional and high‑net‑worth retail portfolio to drive new business and strengthen long‑term relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively acquire professional and high‑net‑worth retail clients through networking, referrals and direct prospecting.
• Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships, ensuring high client satisfaction throughout the trading lifecycle.
• Conduct client due diligence, suitability assessments and KYC processes in line with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with onboarding, compliance, dealing and support teams to ensure smooth client management and operational efficiency.
• Represent AvaTrade as a brand ambassador, maintaining professional and compliant conduct at all times.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience in eFX, CFDs or other OTC derivative products.
• Transferable client portfolio that includes professional clients and high‑net‑worth individuals.
• Track record of success within a regulated brokerage environment.
