Business Development Manager – Restaurant Acquisition

About the role

As a Business Development Manager, you will sign up and help onboard the best restaurants and chains in the UAE to work with Deliveroo. The team signs up restaurants and sits at the centre of the marketplace, shaping how restaurants, grocers and new verticals are served. You report to the Team Lead of your city.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, pitch and close new restaurants in your territory, mostly through inside (telesales) sales
• Manage your own pipeline of leads and ensure strong conversion rates
• Oversee the partner onboarding process so it is quick, efficient and seamless
• Help partners succeed in the first weeks after signing
• Assist the wider commercial team with ad-hoc projects such as field pitch days, restaurant marketing roll-outs and cross-functional projects

Required profile

• Must be based in Abu Dhabi
• BSc/BA in business or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of sales experience
• Demonstrable sales track record in prospecting, pitching and closing deals
• Experience as an experienced negotiator able to structure win-win deals for partners and Deliveroo
• Understanding of the economics of delivery for restaurant partners and Deliveroo
• Fluency in English; Hindi or Arabic is a plus
