Business Development Manager – Shoptalk Luxe

About the role

Following the successful launch of Shoptalk Luxe in January 2026, Hyve Group is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to lead the commercial expansion of the event across the GCC and the wider Middle East. Based in Dubai, you will be the on‑ground commercial lead responsible for driving sponsorship revenue, building strategic partnerships and growing the event’s footprint in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, secure and manage high‑value regional sponsors and partners.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of new business opportunities and represent the Shoptalk Luxe brand in the market.
• Meet and exceed sales targets by prospecting, negotiating and closing sponsorship deals.
• Develop and nurture relationships with C‑suite and senior decision‑makers in the retail‑technology space.
• Design creative partnership opportunities tailored to regional clients.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and manage the sales process from prospect to event execution.
• Utilise the CRM system to track activities, forecast revenue and report on account performance.
• Collaborate with internal sales teams and other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Required profile

• 5+ years of consultative sales experience, preferably in tech events or sponsorship sales within the Middle East.
• Strong network and deep knowledge of retail‑technology suppliers in the region.
• Proven track record of generating and closing large sponsorship or partnership deals.
• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets.
• Excellent pipeline management, forecasting and account‑mapping skills.
• Highly organised, adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
