Business Development Manager – SME Insurance (Dubai)

About the role

Al Manarah Insurance Services – Dubai Branch, part of Chedid Capital Group, is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business and deliver tailored insurance solutions, focusing on the SME segment in the UAE market. The role involves building relationships with small and medium enterprises, tailoring insurance solutions to meet their unique risk profiles, and expanding the company’s market share.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and convert new leads into prospects and clients, managing a personal sales pipeline.
• Analyse client needs, design suitable insurance programs, and lead negotiations to close deals.
• Cross‑sell additional lines of business and provide regular monthly pipeline and business progress reports.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the domestic insurance market, product pricing, and insurer service quality, including claims handling.
• Contribute to the preparation of management reports and business tracking documents.
• Coach and support team members where applicable to ensure optimal performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum three years of sales experience in the UAE or GCC markets, specifically in General and Medical Insurance.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
