Business Development Officer

About the role

The Business Development Officer will strengthen the foundation’s ecosystem of partners and drive sustainable revenue growth. This role combines partnership development, fundraising, grant writing and community engagement to support the non‑profit’s mission.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a structured Partnership & Co‑Creation Framework.
• Identify, map and secure new partners across public, private and community sectors.
• Lead fundraising initiatives and build strategic funding pipelines for long‑term program sustainability.
• Research, write and submit local and international grant proposals.
• Generate leads for Accessibility Consultancy Services and present tailored proposals to prospects.
• Track proposal outcomes, funding KPIs and maintain accurate reporting.
• Organise outreach campaigns, community forums, stakeholder roundtables and collaborative planning sessions.
• Provide feedback to program and marketing teams based on partner interactions and market trends.
• Maintain a database of all partner interactions and represent the foundation at networking events and conferences.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in social sciences or business development.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, business development, outreach, partnerships, fundraising or grant writing.
• Proven experience in proposal development and donor engagement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong negotiation abilities.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
• Community‑service mindset and purpose‑driven attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CRM software.
• Experience with sales analytics tools.
