Business Development Representative

About the role

Canonical, the global leader behind Ubuntu, is looking for a Business Development Representative to join its remote‑first sales development team. You will work closely with regional sales and marketing colleagues to identify and qualify new business opportunities across multiple industries and geographies.

Key responsibilities

• Execute outbound sales and marketing campaigns to generate high‑quality leads.
• Research prospective customers, market trends and technology use‑cases.
• Deliver qualified leads to senior sellers, fueling a multi‑million‑dollar pipeline.
• Own and close SMB opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and senior stakeholders to drive results.
• Contribute to defining team processes and policies.
