Business Development Representative

About the role

Halcyon is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to join its growing sales team. You will focus on generating new business opportunities and building relationships with prospects in the cybersecurity and ransomware‑protection market, primarily across Dubai and the wider UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, identify, and qualify potential customers through inbound and outbound outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn).
• Engage decision‑makers to understand their ransomware‑related security challenges.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing to execute lead‑generation campaigns.
• Maintain a robust pipeline and keep lead data up‑to‑date in the CRM.
• Educate prospects on Halcyon’s ransomware protection solutions and qualify fit.
• Follow up and nurture leads until they are ready for deeper conversations with an Account Executive.
• Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging ransomware threats.

Required profile

• At least 12 months of experience in sales or business development, preferably in a technology or cybersecurity environment.
• Strong communication skills in English and business‑level Arabic.
• Proactive, self‑motivated, and comfortable working in a fully remote, distributed team.
