Business Development Representative - Middle East

About the role

Proofpoint is looking for a Business Development Representative in Dubai to support its Field sales team in the Middle East. The role reports to the Sr. Manager, Business Development and works closely with regional sales and marketing teams to generate sales-accepted leads through a mix of inbound lead follow-up and outbound prospecting. It involves building knowledge of assigned accounts and connecting the sales team with influencers and decision-makers.

Key responsibilities

• Qualify and develop inbound and outbound sales-accepted leads, respond to product inquiries and follow up on marketing-generated leads to convert them.
• Gather intelligence on assigned accounts (competition, projects, purchase intent).
• Manage email campaigns and cold-calling campaigns to generate new prospects.
• Track communications with current and potential customers accurately in Salesforce.com.
• Schedule demonstrations between the Commercial Sales team and potential customers.

Required profile

• Fluent Arabic and English.
• Highly motivated, competitive and detail-oriented.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and organisational skills.
• Preferred: experience in a goal-driven environment and 2 years of experience.

Required skills

• Experience with Salesforce.com or another CRM is a bonus.
