Business & Economics Teacher (Secondary)

About the role

GEMS Education is looking for an enthusiastic Business and Economics Teacher to join its Dubai campus from March 2026 for the remainder of the 2025‑2026 academic year. The role involves delivering high‑quality lessons to secondary students and preparing them for IGCSE, GCSE or A‑Level examinations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging Business and Economics lessons aligned with the curriculum.
• Prepare students for external examinations (IGCSE, GCSE, A‑Level or equivalent).
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Contribute to departmental meetings, curriculum development and wider school activities.
• Uphold safeguarding policies and complete a UK‑enhanced DBS check.

Required profile

• Strong subject knowledge in Business and/or Economics.
• Experience teaching Business or Economics at secondary level.
• Ability to design lessons that promote critical thinking and real‑world application.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
• Willingness to engage positively in the school community.
