Business Faculty – Project Management Lecturer

About the role

The Higher Colleges of Technology seeks a dedicated Business Faculty member to teach Project Management and related subjects to second‑language learners. The role combines classroom instruction, student advising, research, and community engagement within a student‑centric environment.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to HCT’s system‑wide strategy, develop policies, and engage in applied research aligned with national innovation priorities.
• Deliver applied, student‑centered instruction in business and project management courses, utilizing educational technology, assessing student progress, and providing continuous feedback.
• Advise and mentor students, support internships and work placements, and serve on faculty, program, and community committees.
• Maintain teaching facilities, prepare electronic course assessment files, and participate in curriculum revision, quality assurance, and accreditation processes.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in a relevant discipline, or a Master’s degree with professional certification and at least five years of combined teaching and industry experience; a Bachelor’s may be considered with extensive industry experience and certification.
• Minimum three years of teaching experience in the discipline and three years of relevant industry experience, including curriculum development, accreditation standards, and incorporation of educational technology.
