Business Operations Manager – UAE

About the role

Remitly is seeking a Head of Operations to lead its UAE business. Based in Abu Dhabi and working in a hybrid model, you will be responsible for shaping and scaling the company’s operational framework across the region, ensuring compliance with the Central Bank of the UAE and supporting rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement structures to monitor and assess the UAE entity’s outsourcing framework in line with CBUAE Outsourcing Regulation.
• Maintain the first‑line ownership of the outsourcing register, classifying arrangements as material or non‑critical and keeping the register audit‑ready.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Risk and senior leadership to draft and manage Intercompany Agreements for services delivered to the UAE licensed entity.
• Develop playbooks and scalable processes that drive operational excellence and support business expansion.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and governance of all outsourcing and third‑party relationships.

Required profile

• Strategic thinker with strong analytical rigour and attention to detail.
• Proven track record of driving operational excellence in a regulated financial‑services environment.
• Experience governing outsourcing arrangements and meeting central‑bank fit‑and‑proper requirements.
• Owner‑mindset, capable of turning problems into actionable solutions.
