Business Process Principal Consultant – Customer Industry Solutions

About the role

Join SAP's Customer Industry Solutions team to lead AI‑driven transformation initiatives for enterprise customers. You will combine deep industry knowledge with cutting‑edge AI engineering to shape high‑impact use cases and deliver measurable business value.

Key responsibilities

• Lead customer innovation engagements by running discovery workshops and FDE‑style boot camps with business and IT stakeholders to surface, qualify and prioritize Industry AI opportunities.
• Define high‑value Industry AI use cases, translating business challenges into implementable AI solutions and sharpening requirements, architecture, KPIs and value metrics.
• Own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of use cases, from discovery through prototype development, acceptance criteria definition, engineering partnership and business outcome validation.
• Deliver measurable value quickly using an iterative model that puts solutions into production within weeks.
• Build and enrich the Industry AI portfolio by turning customer learnings into reusable AI assets and accelerators with documented financial and operational impact.

Required profile

• 6+ years of deep industry experience in Manufacturing, Energy & Natural Resources, Consumer Products or Professional Services, with operational knowledge of process pain points and transformation value.
• Hands‑on expertise in defining Agentic AI solutions, focusing on data readiness, process fit and measurable outcomes.
• Proven product‑management or consulting track record delivering complex business‑transformation programs to senior stakeholders.
• Strong executive‑level facilitation skills, emotional intelligence and ability to build trust across organisations.
• Strategic thinking and problem‑solving ability to identify high‑impact AI opportunities and translate them into executable solutions.
• Business acumen to create quantified business cases with realistic KPIs, ROI timelines and value measurement.
