Business Risk Manager (Maternity Cover) – Dubai

About the role

The Business Risk Manager will support Cartier’s internal‑control and compliance framework across boutiques, points of sale, digital activities and office operations in the UAE. You will work closely with boutique and cross‑functional teams to strengthen controls while ensuring operational efficiency and an exceptional client experience.

Key responsibilities

• Review and maintain the Boutique Operations Manual in collaboration with regional and international teams.
• Partner with boutique management to optimise operational workflows and ensure effective risk control.
• Provide guidance and training on operational controls, compliance, AML and fraud prevention.
• Support new joiners with compliance and operational introductions during probation.
• Analyse boutique sales activity, including high‑value transactions, refunds, exchanges and reservations.
• Conduct operational checks across boutiques, deliver on‑site guidance and prepare related reports.
• Follow up on audit findings, recommend improvements and ensure inventory compliance with Maison standards.

Required profile

• In‑depth knowledge of boutique operations with experience in internal controls, compliance, audit or business risk.
• Ability to assess business situations, identify risk areas, potential fraud exposure and improvement opportunities.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Independent, solutions‑oriented approach with high integrity and discretion.
• Fluency in English; French and/or Arabic are an advantage.
• Flexibility to travel occasionally within the UAE.
