Business Studies/Economics Teacher (UK‑IGCSE)

About the role

International Community School – Al Manhal Branch is seeking a passionate Business Studies/Economics Teacher to deliver the UK‑IGCSE curriculum to high/secondary students in a supportive, dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Business Studies and Economics lessons aligned with the UK‑IGCSE syllabus.
• Create an inclusive classroom that encourages critical thinking, creativity and academic excellence.
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with the Social Sciences department to develop and refine curriculum resources.
• Maintain effective classroom management and uphold British curriculum standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Education or a related field (minimum requirement).
• At least 2 years of teaching experience in Business Studies or Economics at secondary/high school level.
• Strong knowledge of the UK‑IGCSE Business Studies and Economics syllabus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate diverse learners.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to school values of integrity, respect and professionalism.
