Business Teacher (Full‑Time)

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Business Teacher to join GEMS Metropole School – Motor City in Dubai from August 2026. The successful candidate will deliver the Business curriculum, inspire students of diverse abilities and uphold the school’s core values of excellence and cultural awareness.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Business lessons that cater to varied learning styles and individual student needs, including ESL, gifted, and low‑ability learners.
• Maintain accurate records of curriculum plans, attendance, assessments and teaching resources, and provide written evidence of planning when requested.
• Assess, record and report student progress, set and mark work, and use assessment data to adapt instruction.
• Utilise media and technology effectively in the classroom.
• Promote student well‑being, monitor behaviour, and implement strategies for self‑discipline.
• Communicate regularly with parents, keeping them informed of progress while respecting confidentiality.
• Participate in staff meetings, appraisal processes, CPD activities and school committees.
• Contribute to co‑curricular and extra‑curricular programmes and assist in organising school events.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with strong subject knowledge in Business and a solid commitment to teaching and learning.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with students, colleagues and parents.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Willingness to uphold GEMS policies, procedures and code of conduct.
