Butler Runner – Luxury Hotel Service

About the role

The Butler Runner supports the Butler team at St. Regis Abu Dhabi, ensuring seamless delivery of the iconic Butler Service. Working in a luxury hotel environment, the role requires close coordination with multiple departments to exceed guest expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Receive hand‑over from the previous shift via GoConcierge and manage Dect/GXP phone equipment according to policy.
• Attend daily briefings, stay informed about hotel events, occupancy, and arrival/departure schedules.
• Cover assigned floor sections during breaks or when a Butler is unavailable.
• Restock Butler pantries with coffee beans, tea, biscuits, sugars, and other consumables.
• Monitor and replenish general stock of food and beverage items (milk, honey, coffee, lemon, mint, ginger, etc.).
• Coordinate with Engineering, Private Dining, and Housekeeping to resolve any service‑related issues.

Required profile

• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑service luxury environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to liaise with multiple hotel departments.
• Attention to detail and proactive problem‑solving attitude.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including early mornings and late evenings.

Required skills

• Proficiency with GoConcierge system.
• Familiarity with Dect/GXP phone equipment.
• Basic inventory management and stock‑replenishment experience.
