Cabin Services Assistant – In‑flight Spa & Cabin Care

About the role

The Cabin Services Assistant is responsible for the hygienic cleaning and personalisation of the A380 Shower Spas used by First Class passengers, as well as maintaining lavatories, lounges and general cabin areas. This role supports the cabin crew by ensuring all facilities are spotless, well‑stocked and ready for use, without overlapping normal cabin crew service duties.

Key responsibilities

• Perform inventory control to confirm correct product quantities are loaded for in‑flight use.
• Check Shower Spa and lavatory cleanliness before boarding and place appropriate amenity items.
• Clean Shower Spas promptly after each use, following the CSA Checklist and hygiene standards.
• Personalise each Shower Spa according to the reservation system, displaying selected products for the customer.
• Maintain clean and tidy lavatories and cabin areas, completing the CSA Checklist regularly.
• Report any defects, unusual noises, smells or suspicious items to the Purser immediately.
• Adhere to uniform regulations, report for duty on time and follow the chain of command.

Required profile

• Minimum of 10 years of schooling or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of customer‑service experience with an international hotel chain, airline or world‑class service provider.
• Experience in hospitality housekeeping is an advantage.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

• Inventory control and stock verification.
• Use of cleaning materials and hygiene checklists.
• Ability to follow reservation systems and personalise cabin facilities.
