Cable Engineer – High‑Voltage Power Transmission

About the role

We are seeking a Cable Engineer to provide specialist technical review for high‑voltage cable systems within major transmission projects in Abu Dhabi. SEGULA Technologies is a global engineering group delivering large‑scale projects across multiple industrial sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Review high‑voltage cable‑system designs and related submissions.
• Assess cable routing, layout drawings and engineering documentation.
• Evaluate installation and interface requirements.
• Coordinate civil, substation and electrical interfaces.
• Analyse technical changes and vendor documentation.
• Support testing and commissioning readiness.
• Verify as‑built records and prepare hand‑over documentation.

Required profile

• Strong experience with high‑voltage cable systems.
• Background in transmission or substation cable projects.
• Extensive EPC design‑review expertise.
• Knowledge of cable installation, testing and commissioning procedures.
• Proven multidisciplinary interface‑management capabilities.
