Camp Accountant – Revenue & Cost Control (Junior)

About the role

The Camp Accountant will manage daily financial operations for Royal Vision Desert Safari Camp, ensuring accurate revenue, collections and expense tracking. This hands‑on, on‑site position works closely with the operations team, drivers, cashiers and the central finance department.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile daily bookings from multiple channels (CityLaila, B2B agents, OTAs, direct customers, walk‑ins).
• Match collections (cash POS, card, online, bank transfers) to bookings and prepare detailed revenue reports.
• Control cashier handovers, investigate cash and POS discrepancies, and maintain accounts receivable ageing.
• Verify supplier invoices, maintain accounts payable records and produce supplier reconciliation statements.
• Monitor food, beverage and consumable stock, calculate food cost per guest and overall operating cost per guest.
• Reconcile driver trip sheets, fuel expenses and other safari‑related costs.
• Maintain petty‑cash vouchers, record transactions in Tally Prime, and support month‑end closing, bank, VAT and corporate tax reconciliations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in UAE and in tourism/hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of cash, POS and online payment reconciliations.
• High integrity, accuracy and ability to investigate discrepancies independently.
• Fluent English; Hindi, Urdu or Arabic a plus.
